Hatton Capital Partners announced today that NTT Data Japan has agreed to purchase a minority stake in Prime Capital Ltd.

NTT DATA Corporation is a publicly-traded Japanese system integration company, 54 per cent owned by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT).

Its business areas are in national and local governments, financial, and telecommunication sectors.

Danai Pathomvanich, Hatton’s managing partner and majority Prime Capital shareholder said Prime welcomes this investment by one of the world’s largest IT services companies.

“NTT and Prime’s close collaboration will result in many new innovations to the regional mobile-services industry,” he said.

Hatton Capital Partners is a financial advisory and investment company with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

“Our total assets-under-management (AUM) now exceeds $US250 million,” said Danai.

Hatton Capital Partners clients are continuing to invest in Asia and especially ASEAN because they believes its future growth and dynamic human capital resources will continue delivering superior investment returns in the next several decades.

“We are currently actively evaluating investments in several infrastructure, food production and retail finance businesses in the region for our partners.”
